The pearl is about 8mm, and there is some peeling of the coating, but it is coated in multiple layers, so you can't see the skin, and it has a shabby feel, which is very nice.
The clasp is made of rhinestone flowers and the knob part is also ingenious, with the rhinestone petals serving as the knobs.
